What we review

Before approving a business page for verification, MyKanta may review the account holder’s identity, business information, contact details, product information and supporting documents. The information requested can vary by seller and business type.

What the verified badge means

A verified badge means MyKanta completed its review using the information available at that time. It helps buyers identify a business that has passed our verification process.

Verification is not an endorsement, guarantee of product quality, promise of delivery, or substitute for checking a listing before buying.

Ongoing checks

We may review a seller again when account details change, a report is received, activity appears unusual, or updated information is needed. A badge may be paused or removed if a seller no longer meets our requirements or does not provide requested information.

What buyers should check

• Read the complete listing, delivery details and return conditions.
• Use MyKanta checkout for eligible payment protection.
• Keep conversations and order records on the platform.
• Never send money because someone pressures you to pay outside MyKanta.

Reporting a seller or listing

Report misleading information, suspected impersonation, prohibited products or unsafe behaviour through MyKanta support. Include the seller or product name, relevant messages and any order details so the concern can be reviewed.
